i have created a database with latin2 charset and latin2_general_ ci collation
i also tried utf8 and utf8_polish_ci collation but i get an error
mysql> INSERT INTO `candidate_prov inces` VALUES(1, 'dolnośląskie') ;

ce' at row 1
when i insert some words with polish diacritic characters
