5.0.2 alpha on XP

Is ANYONE able to run 5.0.2 alpha on Windows 2000 / XP ?

Specifically, I am referring to the seemingly still-unresolved critical bug

Does anyone know where I might be able to find Windows binaries for 5.0.1 ?
