    ffmpegx preserve alpha channel

I used ffmpegx to convert .mov to .flv. and it lessen the filesize and that is good. But I need to preserve the alpha channel. There is no option in the ffmpegX application. Please help! Guys, your immediate reply is highly appreciated. Thanks!

you might have to call ffmpeg via CLI, as there might be an option for it that’s not coded in the GUI. it should be mentioned in the ffmpeg forums or documentation, what call you need.

calling ffmpeg via CLI will do. what do you do if it's coded in the GUI? any alteration modes you are aware of?

nope, I’m using ffmpeg too sparse for re/encoding.

well, in that case it settles it. The usage of ffmpeg is rare and too far fetched in between.

have you tried the NSV streaming media? that's the only one I can think of for CUI-GUI interface conversion.
