Which virtulization - Xen or KVM?

Hi all

I am new to this forum so would like to greet all who have been here since long helping others and wish i will get the same response too. I have a lot of questions to ask but am beginning with a problem that i am currently stuck in.

Which virtualization do you suggest i should use Zen or KVM?

Zen is not supporting ext4 file system while i am not sure about KVM at all but KVM seems more favored by the community although from its documentation i feel its harder to set up.

Xen is a hypervisor, KVM is a kernel patch that lets you do virtualization but it inherently does not do any virtualization itself.

They are two different solutions for a different set of problems. You better define your problem domain first then you can ask questions comparing apples to apples, not apples to oranges.
