yum in RedHatLinux(rhel) 5

im trying to install some packages in red hat enterprise linux (rhel) 5 using yum.
but it is not working.can anyone help me in how to use yum in rhel 5. please tell me where to download and how to install yum in rhel5.

There are a great deal of yum tutorials online - I'd recommend searching through Google for one that seems the easiest for you to follow.
