facebox /jquery modal window not destroying itself after close

I am using facebox to display html pages which works very fine.

In one of the html files is a video file. The problem is after I close the modal window, the video continues to play at the back. facebox is badly commented on how to close it or so entirely. How do I go do that please? Any tip.
