I can't access my email on my laptop.

I am trying to access my hotmail account and everytime it says <body onload="javascr ipt:rd();" I did not download this
jave script. I had an advertisement for it and ask if I wanted to try it for 30 days. I didn't have the time to check it out so I did put it in my favorites file thinking I would get back to it when I had time. That messed everything up on my computer and then I couldn't get my email to open. I don't even know what Java Script is. Can you help. I just want to delete it off of my computer.

JavaScript is an object-oriented scripting language, which is supported by practically every browser (with some difference, though) and is used (but not limited to) to do client-side scripting.
