Post form to a new window

Hi all,
This is a very small and easy problem but i m failed to solve it.

I want to post my form, but i want it to be posted on to a popup window.
Following is my doing:

<form id="report" name="report" action="report.aspx?id=1&authorId=2&reportType=post" method="post" onsubmit="ShowPopupWindowXY ('report.aspx?id=1&authorId=2&reportType=post', 400, 300); return false;">
            <td><input name="txtReport" id="txtReport" type="text" /></td>
            <td><input type="image" value="Send" src="design/button-send.gif" /></td>
            </form>

In my asp.net page i m getting nothing against txtReport.
