Livecycle designer: detect a field change and and highlight the field

Distributed forms. We need a simple way to detect the end user has changed the content of a form field and to highlight the changed field colour as a result. The change needs to persist through Save As so that it can been seen by the sender on return. Any ideas?

1) use the change event
2) save the change/highlight in a cookie

Hi Ali,

For each field you would like to be highlighted, add the following code to the change event:

this.fillColor = "255, 255, 0";

255,255,0 is the RGB for yellow

To edit the change event, select an object and open the Script Editor (Window > Script Editor)
