How to insert rows in asp:table

hi,

I inserted into normal HTML table, Now I want to use those table's value in my aspx.vb page, so I included as runat="server" in that html table. Without this tag the insertion works fine, after that runat tag, it shows following error and pointed at :

theTable = (document.all) ? document.all.my TABLE : document.getEle mentById("myTAB LE")
theTableBody = theTable.tBodie s[0]

error:

JScript runtime error: 'theTable.tBodi es' is null or not an object

What should I do now, Is any other way to insert in asp:table

More than likely, the ID will be incorrect. get the generated ID and use that in place of myTABLE
