Can Javascript work embedded as outlook Email?

Hi,
I have a requirement that an html report is sent using outlook. This report is embedded in the outlook email. The problem Im facing is I've included some javascript functionalities within the report, these are not working.

When I load the html report on my machine, JS works fine. How do I activate javascript in outlook email. Is there a possibility?

i think this is and shouldn't be possible - at least not in all email-clients - they would need to be configured to receive html-mails (for example - i do always disable that to just have plain text), lower security restrictions to execute embedded code etc. ... i basicly would suggest to send a link where the users could have a look at the webpage with their preferred browser ...
