tween image to the middle with glow

Hey,
Is there some javascript framwork that will let me center an image (with a tween) and at the same time give me a glow effect?

Examples:

The sbliss site uses a script called Fancy Zoom. Couldn't check the other sites because the URLs are mangled.

I also checked the source and found that script but I thought It was very slow for bigger images, I will see if I can find something thats more suitable for my project.

Apple uses prototype and scriptaculous which you can use for effects. Insideria is using a library called HighSlide. There's many *box clones that you could use. Look for "lightbox clones" or "lightbox alternatives".
