    Welcome to TSDN!

I have split your post from the thread you posted in because it's a different problem (as you stated yourself).

Post an example page or link.

      1. download firefox
      2. download the firbug extension, by joe hewitt
      3. right click on the frame and select "Inspect Element"

clicking through the firebug tabs, i am sure you can find the url.

Even simpler, turn off javascript and view source.

thats certainly a simpler and faster solution, but don't forget about programmatic redirects.

for example, Many email interfaces change the frames around as your navigate, and bounce around several times. i know hotmail has 4 or 5 urls going, all dynamic. Simply put, you can't always tell anymore where an actual frame is at by viewing the top's source.

firebug will always give you the live value.
