I am writing a program in Java that needs to ensure that the user who opened it is in a particular group that allows access to the program. I need to be able to detect the username of whoever opens it and check it against the Active Directory group to allow/disallow access to the program. I plan on doing this in some kind of a user authentication class. Any help would be appreciated. I haven't dealt with Active Directory much, and don't know how to tie it into Java.
