blank page displays when navigating to .aspx on the local machine

a blank page displays when navigating to .aspx on the local machine we are using xp pro with IIS i've run c:\windows\Micr osoft.NET\Frame work\v2.0.50727 \aspnet_regiis. exe -i
followed by resvr 32 c:\windows\Micr osoft.NET\Frame work\v2.0.50727 \aspnet_isapi.d ll
then ran iisreset

regsvr replyed with the message:

c:\WINDOWS\Micr osoft.NET\Frame work\v2.0.50727 \aspnet_isapi.d ll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServ er entry point was not found.

This file can not be registered.

but system still won't display the .aspx using IE8

Hi there,

Are you using Zone Alarm by any chance? you need to enable HTTP port [80] on zone alarm.

Try accessing you web page while Zone Alarm / Windows XP Firewall / Antivirus are set to disable state. Good luck :)
