    Meta language Errror meta http-equiv=

    I have this on my site... <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="applic ation/xhtml+xml; charset=utf-8" />

    And bing is telling me there is an error and to improve SEO I should add this...

    The page is missing meta language information.

    Recommended Action:
    Use <meta http-equiv="content-language" content="ll-cc"> tag in the <head> section of your page, where "ll-cc" stands for the culture code of the language and country/region the content applies to. Alternatively use the lang="ll-cc" attribute on either the <html> or the <title> tag .

    It says you haven't set the language tag for your document.

    Try adding this to your <html> tag and not your metta tag.

    Code:
    <html lang="en">
    of add the following meta tag below your Content-Type tag

    Code:
    <meta http-equiv="content-language" content="en-US">
    See if that works.
