Archive subdomain with different...

Here is the deal, I have a blog. I am redesigning it and starting fresh.

What I would like to do is have the old blog with the old format show up at http://www.archive.web site.com and the new format and new blog show up at website.com. Any thoughts?

Add a subdomain. Copy current contents into the subdomain's folder. Upload new contents into the root folder.
