Hi there frostygrunt, and welcome to the Illustrious information page! Illustrious was originally created by Otter and Jean on September 19th, 2009. But now there is a new leader named Iman! With amazing members and the ability to keep things running this guild has pushed through almost shutting down! Not many guilds can say that about themselves, but we certainly can. We believe we are a tight knit family and so long as we continue building friendships we should be around for years to come :)<br>

Since we are an avatar based guild, we DO have some requirements for you to get in. If you are close, we are willing to help you out, that way you can become a member. You wont get the needed avvies unless <i>someone</i> helps right?
<br>01. 200+ Avatars
<br>We think 200 avatars is a good number for our members. It shows that they are truly dedicated to avatar collecting and also ensures more trust when we lend things.
<br>02. Nice Font
<br>Bad fonts are icky! Since we're avatar related, it's only fair that we have decent fonts to go along with our spiffy avatar :)
<br>03. Literate
<br>No one likes to read ch@tsp3@k. It's annoying to most, and downright hard to understand sometimes. We are okay with little or common things like: <i>lol, brb, g2g, bbl, ttyl</i>
<br>04. Main Account
<br>This requirement is due to the fact that we are also a chat based guild. And since most times, side account tend to be less active than mains, we just prefer main accounts to make sure our members are active.

<h1>Guild Rules;</h1>
<p>As with any successful guild, we do need to have a few rules :)
<br>
1) Literacy<br>
Chatspeak can get a little annoying when it's all that is posted ALL the time, so we would appreciate full sentences with full words at least most of the time. Although we do allow you to use BRB or LOL or any of those acronyms because it gets the point across nice and quickly.<br> **w3 d0n7 w@nn@ s33 7h15 plz**<br><br>
2) Kindness<br>
We like to think that we are a large family, and being part of a family is getting along. We would like to ask everyone to keep drama to neomails and avoiding being unnecessarily mean to people. It is understood that sometimes people just do not get along, but the rest of the guild dow not have to know, and we don't want fighting, so just zip the lip and keep smiling :)<br><br>
3) Spamming<br>
Is not allowed at all. Anyone spamming will be warned and then suspended for periods of time to be specified by the leader/council. Don't know what we consider spamming? Basically, if you see that you have three or more posts in a row, maybe it's time to stop and let others respond before you post anymore, also we would like everyone's posts to be at least 5 words in length. Slipping once in a while is perfectly fine, but try not to be a repeat offender :D <br><br>
4) Scamming <br>
Will not be tolerated under any circumstance. You scam anyone and you're reported and booted from the guild.<br><br>
5) Activeness <br>
A guild is nothing without members, so why have hundreds of members but no one chatting? It's more fun for everyone when people try to be active. You don't need to be one 24/7 but if you can stop in at least once a week than everyone can try and get to know you and maybe you'll be drawn to swing by even more!<br><br>
