HTTPS stands for: Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure or Hypertext Transfer Protocol over Secure Socket Layer.

A web server administrator has to configure the web server to accept HTTPS connections before you can actually use this technology in your website.

Once this has been done you have to make sure than any resources (pictures, external style sheets, external JavaScripts, etc) are accessed using "https://" instead of "http://".

It's not very complicated at all...just replace any "http://" in your login web page with "https://".

My company want to make one of its product site Login page into HTTPS based communication. I read that i will have to use Open SSL for this.
How can i do this. What will be the changes to be done on the server.
