Problem with drop down menu

I am trying to introduce a drop down menu for our Church website

In test mode it can be found at

There are 3 css pages

My 2 questions are

1. How do I make the drop down items fill teh width available

and

2. How do I get the drop downs to overlap the lower part of the page and NOT push that down
