I have changed the thread title. Please remember to provide a meaningful Title for any threads started (see the FAQ entry Use a Good Thread Title).
This helps to ensure that other members, and also the general public, will have a better chance of finding answers to any similar questions.Comment

I did a lot of research on this for a class I took a year ago and ended up writing my final paper as a compilation from several tutorials I found for building css menus. I would be happy to share it if it's appropriate and if someone will help me figure out how to post an attachment. It's a step-by-step tutorial with pictures in a Word document. Please advise.
P.S. I got an "A." =DComment

To add an attachment, make a post and then edit it. The option to add attachments should now be available.
If you can, I would suggest that you convert the Word document to something like pdf format. I know most people will have Word, but just in case.Comment

Thanks! Converting to a pdf made it too big to upload, so I had to zip it. Here's the tutorial. I hope it's helpful.Attached FilesComment

I would suggest you put it on your homepage, in HTML form and let others benefit from your work. ;)Comment

I would bring it up to date a bit.
1) The transitional doctype should never be used for new pages.
2) :hover now works on other elements as of IE7.
The effect can be made to work without javascript but the markup would have to be changed.Comment
