    ramping up a html page/site

ok i starting to make a site for a corparation(a form of guild / clan) for the mmorpg eve-online.

i have a old site i made from ages ago when i used to play call of duty, but now i want to re use it and 'ramp' it up a bit.

so first of all i would like to make it somewhat dynamic with a CMS so that the admin/user can log in and update news or create new news (lol) so that a new page is created and all the text / details can be entered through the admin panel, kinda like phpnuke.
it also needs to put the recent news or articles at the top of the page so users can click on a link and it will take them to the page.

another feature would be resent forum posts in a small box on the site of the screen.

this is kinda what im looking for http://www.worldofraids.com/ thats a site that allows you to see latest forum posts (on th right) aswell as news on the main page.

what i would needs is a CMS ( i think) that someone has used and could point me in the general direction.

i have searched the web for cms but theres so many i dont really know what do do, i wanna keep the layout and design of my perious site but add in he CMS feature :D

i hope this makes sence ( i had to write it quick cus im at a net cafe and running outa time xD)

Definitely the wrong place for this, however I can tell you that you're looking for either:

    PHPNuke
    Joomla
    WordPress

All those are CMS portals that are user friendly and allow for quick, easy editing.

You’re either writing your CMS or using a prebuilt one. For a sample of CMS you can try it out online, look at http://opensourcecms.c om/ . It’s not an exhaustive list of options, so a lot of the good options are found by Google.
