ie 7 image rendering issue

I can't seem to understand why ie7 is displaying the images on my site incomplete. This only seems to be on the home page. I am new to design and attempting standards based web design, so please be kind.

Also, in ie6 and ie7 on the "rates" page of the site, the browser pushes the "container" div out to the left. The site renders great in all other browsers that I have tried (Firefox, Opera, Safari, Camino).

My XHTML and CSS validate.

Any guidance would be great. TIA.

I thought I had responded to this. I don't see the problem in IE7. All the images look fine to me.

Thanks for the reply. I have two different people that told me about the issues with images in ie7, and I asked them try again for me. The screen shots I was sent were horrible to look at after all the work I did to get the site done.

Do you have any thoughts on why the "container" div pushes out to the left, leaving no margin, only on this page

It seems to ONLY happen in ie, both 6 and 7, and only on this page, the only page I have a table. Any thoughts?

I don't see a problem there either. Of course, I'm perfect.

I have people still saying that their ie7 isn't rendering the home page correctly. Strange! They have cleared cache, checked for updates, I have even uploaded the site to another server and the issues remain. My sister has viewed the site on ie7 on 3 different computers with 3 different ISPs and still gets the first page looking strange.

This is how they should render. This is Firefox 2 on a Mac.

And the odd thing is, with both users that sent me the above screenshots, it is not consistent as to how much of the image doesn't render. And this is ONLY with the home page. All other pages render great. And it is only with ie7, and not all users apparently.

Any ideas? I am completely perplexed.

And for the strange div pushing out on the rates page here is a screenshot of ie6

It should have a green edge showing from the background. The cream color is the background of the container div, and it has a margin of 10px on the left and right.

This margin renders properly in all other browsers and all other pages of the site in ie. Only this page sends the div out to the left. And only in ie.

Now I see it. I wasn't looking closely enough and didn't see the bottom get cut off. I'll look at this shortly.

Until I can get to a Windows machine, you might see if there is something in front of that image. I don't know why but I not sure when I'll get to look again.
