Scroll buttons for scrolling text in a column

Hello,
I have made two columns in my CSS sheet and included 2 scrolling buttons in the right column for up and down. I would like to make the text in the right column scroll. Any ideas on how to do this and where should I add the code? Am very new to this so any ideas with very simple explanations would be great

you will need to add an overflow property to the CSS for that div.
