C++ RunTime error when trying to play a cdrom that has been installed onto the comput

My daughter has a computer with windows xp installed on it. I recently purchased a game (KNOWLEGE ADVENTURE PRESCOOL). It worked fine for a while but then she started getting into files and stuff she isn't supposed to but by the time I caught her it was too late. No everytime she tries playing it we get the c++ untimely error with the c:\ka\preschl\p reschl 99\.exe with the abnormal program termination message. I have tried to uninstall it in the add/remove programs and then inserted the CD to install it again and I get the same message. We do not have internet for her computer nor can we connect it to the internet in anyway to download anything to find the problem. Please help!

Also there are other CD rom games that I have installed that work just fine such as magic school bus and some other games that work, it is just this program that gets the error message when trying to play. Thanks again!
