The webserver creates the files when you add them. They are probably created wherever the root of the webserver is. On IIS it is by default inetpub/wwwroot.

      Sharepoint website

      Hi All,
Currently I am working in sharepoint. I have created the website in it and added the content editor web part in the same. Now, while adding the html code in the source editor I want to call some javascript functions. For that purpose I have written the javascript file. But it is not giving call to that external javascript file.

Do anyone have any idea about this?
Also please let me know where should I position that javascript file?
      Thanks for any help.
