Is there any software to add glitters, stars to the images ?

I searched the net a lot but in vain....
Actually there are many websites that offer this for free
but the thing is that they are all online services and I dont want to upload my personal pics on the internet because I consider it as unsafe...
So I was just wondering whether there is any such software that I can download for free or trial version ???
I really like the myspace glitter graphics and because of that I got inspired to glitterify my own images.... :-)
any help would be greatly appreciated....

GIMP You could learn how to work with GIMP, it's free, and has lot's of possibilities, it won't be as easy as clicking a "glitterify "-botton or something like that.

Adobe Photoshop and Image Ready have the same features and I find these difficult to use...

As you said I want a software in which adding glitter to a pic can be achieved with a single click of a button.....

I am damn sure there must be some software for this purpose somewhere on the internet...
If somebody knows about such a software then please tell me..

Well I downloaded Cool Comment from Download.com twice, installed and uninstalled it twice but its not working...
its saying server not connected error....

Isn't there any other such software???
There must be one ???
How do the glitter graphic myspace websites create their graphics ???
I dont think they do it all with the help of Photoshop only ??
