We run terminal services on two different win 2k3 servers. The majority of our printers are installed on the AD running win 2k. Periodically one user will lose the ability to print to a particular printer and also view its properties. If I have the user login to the other terminal server, they can print and view the properties of that printer without a problem. Whenever this print issue happens, it is always the same user on the same terminal server. The only way I know how to fix this is to restart the server. Note, I have not tried simply restarting the spooler service.
I would think this has to be related to the specific user account, but if that were true, I would think the issue would occur on either terminal server. I am temporarily at a loss with this one.
