We have developed an app which is being distributed using an MSI created using Visual Studio 2005. File type associations are being set up nicely.
The only problem is that our application is appearing in the 'Open With' dialog for every file type, not just ours.
Of course, many other applications have the same behaviour, but I have noticed that some applications do not behave this way. How is it that they appear in the 'Open With' dialog only when their associated file type is right clicked?
Please help.
