Encryption Strength Test

Does anyone know how/where to go about testing the strength of an encryption?
For example, if the encrypted string is

bunzezecnuadnhyyycjpcobedujcbtoycbwabx
btjfjecxaoucwdofendbbeodtpnpjojintjlsueaaf

I would like to know how easy/difficult it is to break down to the unencrypted text.
