Frustrating that realtek doesn't work and then works as soon as Help arrives!

Not a question. Just didn't know where to put this montage.
So realtek gave me a exe that will create a dump. The device refused saying that it only works with realtek. Like Duh! So, I let the system sit over night and respond to realtek in an email with the results. I get an email back this morning and... What happens?
Realtek decides to actually work! So, when asked to get details and al, the device is working and they won't be able to tell whats going on. Frustrating! LOL

Now its a question of 'what were you doing that caused the issue'. Uh - turning my laptop on? LOL
I'm tempted to create the dump anyhow so they can see an after and before. I'm assuming, of course, that realtek will again stop working. It usually does. :>)
The after is its working after refusing to work.

Dang, that sounds (unfortunately) very typical of programs. Whenever I'm at the school computer, I seem to have problems posting random messages. At first I thought it was using the [CODE] tags...but then I was able to post a message with the tags just fine. And every time I report it, Mary asks me for what the message was. Of course, I can't post it, because the forum won't let me! PMing it out of the question, as it does the same thing. And when I finally get home where I might be able to use email (without breaking rules) to successfully report the question, I don't have the exact message and it now works just fine. Arrgh!

P.S. I had to move this to the Cafe forum, since it really has nothing to do with developing Software - unless you wanna talk about bad Troubleshooting :)

I don't mind the move of post. I almost posted it here in the first place. LOL Why I said, I wasn't sure where to post it.

However, an update: Realtek decided to not work again. So, I was able to get the data. However, because of where toshiba put the sound card ALC number on the mother board, I was not able to get that data for the techie. It would have involved taking the whole back off. I just wasn't up to that task on a laptop. On a Tower? No problem. LOL And this coming from someone who wants to someday rebuild her laptop. Okay. (Rolls eyes at self) LOL
