Are you talking about write protection from your PC to the USB, or does your USB not allow itself to be written too? Two different problems and answers.
Assuming the latter of the two, do you have an application on your USB that has encrypted it or blocked write access? If so either use that software to remove the security measures or you can format the USB drive. NOTE: FORMATTING A DRIVE WILL ERASE ALL DATA.
