I put the Flash Drive in the port and I get an icon but I do not get any other info as to how to load a page on to it. I flashes red when I put it in and I get an icon that says Open Devices and Printers or eject

I'm not quite sure what you mean with "load a page on to it" - save a website to it maybe? If so, the save dialogue should offer access to the drive just like previous versions did. Or is this a problem with the new Internet Explorer?
If you're just unable to access the drive because you can't find it, follow this article explaining the use of the file explorer. This should be pretty familiar once you start it (provided you've used a previous version of Windows or any other major operating system in the past).
Or did I miss the point?
