    Outlook 2010 - Cache mode issue

    I have a client with Outlook 2010 installed on 10 devices.

    A few users outlooks only receive mail if they go to
    Send/Receive > update folder

    I have checked outlook web access, and email is arriving in there instantly so it is not an exchange issue.
    I have turned cached mode off – solves issue however for obvious reasons we need cached mode on.
    I recreate a new outlook profile for user, it works OK for a short while then reverts back to the same issue.

    It is clear that the outlook cache is playing up – but what the fix is for it I do not know.
    Does anyone have any ideas at all?
