    How to fix Password too short error message?

    When I try to install db2, and I use db2admin as user, I always get an error message : "password too short".

    In the documentation is said that DB2 shoudld create the user on the system (Vista)even when it does'nt exist.

    How can I solve the problem ?

      Hi Patrick,

      Issue is not with your userid, but with the "password" that you are suppliying for the db2admin user.
      To resolve the issue supply a password of atleast 8 characters in length.

      Some of password that you can opt to get going can be db2adm1n,db2123 4, pat2dmin etc. :)
