Hello everyone,
i have a big problem with procedure calls on one of my databases. System = win 2003 server.
The problem is only with calling procedures. It can take up to 1 minute for a normal call that on other server takes less then 0.1 second.
The queue of DB logical drive is less then 1 wich is ok. The Trans/sec is very low. CPU is less then 10%...
I checked all the parameters i can find and compared them with another DB, everyithing is the same. But the time differance is huge.
I have done a test of calling a procedure from inside a procedure. The time it takes to go from CALL procedure B() to first row in procedure B wich does an insert with timestamp is 0.3 seconds or more. The time between last row of procedure ( insert into a table with timestamp) and the next row in procedure A with insert to table with timestamp is again 0.3 seconds or more.
Can anyone help. this seems to be some setting problem. I also checked if any TMP DB directorys are full of files but they are all empty.
A little example of log:
Any ideas are welcome.
Thank you!
