access database forms opens at middle entry

when i open the form view in my access database it goes to entry 244 and says it is 1 of 450
all my data is still there and if I ask to find no. 1 it does but I can not use forward and back key to go before entry 244

the navigation seems to have been altered

how to fix

You just need to order the record source on that field.
