System booting but not showing it on Monitor

My system is not Showing Display! It's Booting and also.... After booting... Only Blank Black screen appears and thereafter nothing to do... And after that if I press the Power button.. It shows the shutting down screen!! My OS Windows 8. SOME times my system shows display after wiping the ram for 3-4 times...

At what point does the monitor lose connection? Does your system show the POST? The OS splash screen? Have you updated the driver?
