spend time on interview questions or projects?

my friends and i are studying computer science and about to graduate next year. When ever i get the chance i spend most of my time on projects for fun. ex building websites, 2d games, GUI,.. etc. and my friends have never worked on any project. they just spend their time on remembering interview questions, etc.. and they tell me to spend my time looking up interview question. they say that interview is more important than projects.

now iam started to worry bc i started to applying for jobs and before i though if i just spend my time working on projects than getting job will be easy.

Do you guys think, i shouold start doing what my friends are doing?

It's not a bad idea to be prepared with how the interview process is going to work, but what you're doing is very important to. Working on projects is the best way to build experience.

Hopefully that project experience will show up during your interview process. It's not either or, but probably both that will help you.

Make sure your projects, if open source are hosted somewhere like github.
