Need 64 bit Compiler flags for .mak file

    Hi,

I Have a .mak file written for 32 bit compilation on Windows.

And the nmake.exe of Visual Studio 2008 is used for building the project.
Now I do need to modify the .mak file for 64 bit build on Windows 7.

Kindly suggest me about the Necessary flags used for 64 bit “Compilation” and “Linkage”.
Also let me know if any Architecture related flags required for 64 bit.
    X64 Architecture is used.

    Thanks ,
    Praveen

The easisest thing is to create a project in Visual Studio.NET 2008 and in the propject properties under linker/advanced, set the target the machine to your x64 target.

    Then export a .mak file.

Is there some reason you can't just build using Visual Studio.NET 2008?
