    how to connect turbo c/c++ program to database ?

    Hello Friends, I want to connect turbo c or turbo c++ program with any database like MS Access/SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL.

    If any body know then please tell me and also give source code for it.

      hey buddy,
      I think you should try with latest c/c++ development tools. Turbo c is like 20 years old.
      why don't you download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express from Microsoft site. You can also try QT. QT has both windows and linux version. you can also try working with gcc in linux platform

          With Oracle you use Pro*C from Oracle.

          Basically, you write C code with embedded Oracle macros. These macros are expanded at build time to the correct C code to connect to Oracle.

          Similarly, with MySQL there is an SDK with the functions you need to call to connect to MySQL.
