    Hi
I am having 10 bmp files and i want to make 1 gif file out of that using GDI+. Each bmp file should be displayed for particular time period. I searched a lot but unable to find the answer. I want to do it in C++.

Use Google. I did a search on "gif bmp" and got 1,910,000 hits. You would think this has been done before. In 15 seconds I found this.

Again, I say, this has already been done. There is cerainly an SDK you can purchase that does this. Like DirectX. I don't understand why you would want to recreate existing code.

          ????
And you purchase code instead of writing it yourself ?!

DirectX is for free and it's very well documented.I don't know if DirectX have the code for doing what you ask,but it will be of great help if you wont to do it manually. It's better for you to find some free image library for that.Plus most of free libraries are open source,so if you wish to know how did they do it just read the source.

And sometime in time crucial situations it's better to buy code than waste time writing it yourself.

Actually it is the assignment given to me to create a single gif file using existing bmp files using GDI+ in C++. But I havent found anything on that how to achieve the same.

If you want to create an GIF then you need to know GIF file format and how to parse it.So that's your first step. Here is a small open source library that does just that,it shows you how to read in a GIF file.

Why be a jerk about it? Responses like these are what makes these discussion boards suck. People come here to learn, not to be questioned and derided. Suggest some 3rd-party apps and move on. But it's clear that the poster is not looking for a 3rd-party app and actually wants to learn the internal coding.
