extraction of system infomation

im renu...i want to know how to extract system information such as cpu utilization and memory usage and other device usage in the system by c-program.....is there any buildin funtions in c-language to extract information about system from c-program..

Standard c or c++ library does not provide this information, you need to look for information specific for your system.

If you are using Linux/Unix system then all you need is to find the respective file from /proc file system and parse it with your C/C++ framework...
