suggestion of how or steps i have to do to understand c++?

There is one known and proven technique: get a good book.
example:
C++ Primer (Lippman, Lajoie and Moo)

c++ is not a language liek visual basic in that it does not, out the box, do much other than integrate with some basic console (Text) functionality.
Everything else is plugged in via some kind of 3rd party library. Including, and especially, db access.
And its all very platform specific.
So you'd need to know what db, on what platform, you'd want to access from c++. At which point the result is usually rather obvious.

Go to www.accu.org and look at some book reviews.

Read, enjoy. Pick a subject that interests you for
more detail. Later in the thread you talk about
database. Look for "doing db with C++" books and
get one (or better two or three) with good reviews.

Pick a simple project and code it up.
