display image and its histogram

i need a help in c program. i want to display monochrome image with it's histogram.

Okay, have you started this, or are you stuck at a certain point?

If you haven't started, I would recommend going through and defining your outcome - make sure you know exactly what you need to get out of it (a histogram put together with what data?). And then looking for libraries that do that with Google searches.
