I understand there is no easy single answer to the question I have. I struggled last 5 days searching for the right way to:
Read DMI (Desktop Management Information ) data provided by a 3rd party legacy application by use of the C#'s System.Manageme nt.
The attributes of the 3rd party are defined in a .mif file.
So far I came up with, mapping the mif file into a wbem's mof file to act as a DMI client.
But sofar no luck in actually seeing any data available.
What steps to take?
