How to collect data from a browser?

    Hi Guys

I am trying to automate tasks for the user and not sure how to go about doing this task.

    1. I have a I.E window opened up and need to enter bunch of numbers into a text area and then click submit.

    2. on the second page a table is listed with hyperlink of the numbers and I have to click those links and third page opens up.

    3. Here I have to capture information based on some text and store that into database.

The following url remains unchanged when page is moved to a new page.
    https://urlhidden/somdir/anotherdir/default_carrier .asp

I have seen some solutions here http://www.aspnetworld .com/articles/2004090801.aspx where I have to define url but I cannot do this here, because this page is password protected.

    Your guidance is highly appreciated.
    Thanks.

The IE Browser window has an HTML data structure that you can access and manipulate programmaticall y. Get a copy of a Programmer's manuel for a recent version of HTML. THe one I'm using is IE5 Dynamic HTML Programmer's Reference by Brian Francis, Alex Homer and Chris Ullman. It describes the underlying data structure and gives some code examples to process it.
