I have an .exe program written in C# that will not run on a specific PC that has Windows XP on it. That same .exe program will run on other Windows XP PCs though. So it's something specific to that PC.
The program itself will launch without error. The program basically reads a file and outputs information based on the file contents. So nothing is supposed to happen until the user selects a file. Once the user selects a files, there is a background worker that is supposed to start up and do all the processing. However, it doesn't look like that background worker is starting up.
It can't be a problem with the code since it works on other PCs. This PC is new, so is there a certain setting or missing dll that could cause this problem?
