    using Yahoo API?

    okay so this is the Yahoo API for Mails
    Introducing the Sender Hub Dashboard. Sign up to manage your Complaint Feedback Loop enrollment. More services are coming soon!

    but its only for websites not for win forms, and if it is also for win forms, i dont know how to use it, helps please?

    I'm making a BIG guess here but...
    Since my Outlook has my Yahoo account set up as a POP/SMTP account can't you treat yahoo like any other SMTP mail account?

      yes i can, but i want the number of UNREAD mails... and PoP3 dont have it

            yes i can, but i want the number of UNREAD mails... and PoP3 dont have it
            Well you didn't say that in your original question. That's why I thought it was a *different* question for a *different* need. If this is still about getting the number of unread emails via IMAP then it should stay in the original thread you have on that very subject.

              well Yahoo dont have IMAP support... or i would have used it...cmon..

              in original post we also talked abuot Yahoo API, i tried using it but failed so i m asking that how to USE THE API! to get number of unread mails

                Yahoo built the API and supplied a great deal of documentation for it. Have you read through the documentation and experimented with it? (Read "trial and error" or "some of your own effort")

                Have you written the Yahoo developer support to ask them how to use their API to get the unread emails?

                  the documentation i got is just of 4 pages which i dont understand, as i said it looks like the API is made to be used for websites not for win forms, so is documentations. ..
