How to Access Active Directories using C#

Hi All,
I am very new in accessing microsoft active directories,
Most of the part i have covered i.e, Creating a user, assigning a password,
Creating Groups etc.
But my problem is in my active directories i have added a new user property tab for security portal as well.
But to access this security property, i dont have any clue.
Can any one give me any insight on how to access additional user properties apart from General ones in Active Directories using C# programs.

Ur help will be invaluable to me.
